Annual Herring Festival

The Annual Herring Festival takes place the first three weeks in March, and honours the spawning herring that return to the Hornby Island waters. A parade, nature walks, and the Herring Ball are just some of the events. Boat tours to see the herring are available, some on glass bottom boats.
